Shinjuku East Cross Tower was featured in the June 2018 issue of Kindai Kenchiku (Modern Architecture) magazine.
This new building is only a one-minute walk from Higashi-shinjuku Station, at the intersection of Meiji and Nukebenten Streets. It is an interesting cross-section of residential, business and shopping areas. We planned the design for a multi-purpose tenant building to highlight the convenient location. The intersecting curves concept for the façade design is “interaction” and “crossing”, representing the characteristics of the location.
